Illustrator
Illustrator is a 2D vector design software. It is used to create/edit artwork that is used on the laser and vinyl cutter. Illustrator creates vector art which can be scaled up or down with no distortion. Vector art is composed of paths unlike raster art which is an array of pixels of various colors that form the image and can distorted.
Process
Step 1. Create a design on Illustrator, making sure your image is vector and your lines are set at .0001. Then the next thing to look at when designing your key chain is to set lines as red and blue. Red will cut out the shape and blue will do a vector engrave.
Step 2. Once design is complete save it to a flash drive and print it to the the laser.
Step 3. Use the tools to position the laser to where it will cut your image out and that it is on the material, check all four corners to make sure it stays on material. Then press print.
Step 4. Watch and remove key chain when finished.

5. Cut out with scissors then use dental tool to get any excess print out of the way.
6. Apply transfer tape to the vinyl print and then peel back the back of the sheet, now that your vinyl print is all on the tape simply apply the tape to desired surface and smooth out and peel off the tape.
